Translucent as a Tear

She's just the loner girl,
with dark hair and dark eyes,
feeling better alone,
so no one hears her cries.

She's translucent to all,
with nowhere she can turn.
All she's known is pretend,
life is hard, she has learned.

Great friends, the three are thought,
similar as can be,
though even in the clique,
her self is hard to see.

Though closer are the two,
with her barely inside,
not even realizing
how she's already died.

In love, her heart remains,
fully head over heals,
with he, who broke her heart,
cold numbness she now feels.

She's just the loner girl,
with dark hair and dark eyes,
feeling better alone
so no one hears her cries.

Always the extra wheel,
tagging ‘long for the ride,
always the odd number
she’s so lonely inside.

Though when others need help,
they turn to her and vent,
and desire advice,
but they don't get the hint.

That becoming quiet,
is no more than her choice,
there's no point in talking,
when no one hears her voice.

She's just he loner girl,
with dark hair and dark eyes,
feeling better alone
so no one hears her cries.
